How to Use Social Media to Grow Your Business
--
If you are a business or brand and you are not using social media to its full extent, do yourself a favor and increase your presence on social media immediately. Social media is only growing by the day and becoming more and more popular among businesses and brands. Most businesses don’t know how to use social media correctly. They think posting content that they want to post and they want to see — will also resonate with their audience. That’s a huge no in the world of marketing. You have to post content that your audience would want to see.
It’s not what you want, it’s what your audience wants
Say that you’re a shoe company. Your audience does not want to see every single post being shoes or you trying to sell shoes. They want to see other content that they can connect with. For example, it’s Super Bowl Sunday, post about the game not your shoes. That equates to 4 out of 5 people that you walk by on the street. Let me say that again: 4 OUT OF 5 PEOPLE are using social media in the US! Just think how many people can be exposed to your brand and business. If you use social media correctly, you will see your revenue increase and see your business and brand grow to new levels that you never thought were possible.
Where social media is heading
Social media is constantly evolving. You have to be on top of the new trends. In a few short years video is going to be HUGE. That is a little over a year away from the time I wrote this blog post. My advice to…
