All of us have heard of Facebook advertising. We see ads all the time in our news feeds as we scroll to see what our relatives are up too. Some of them catch our eye, and some of them don’t.

A reach campaign objective is meant to maximize the number of audience members over a period of time.

A reach ad is great when you have a limited time offer or when you’re creating remarketing campaigns.

Maybe you’re a pizza place with a limited time offer coming up. An intriguing offer would be buying one large pizza, and getting one free. This type of offer would be perfect for a reach campaign.

One thing to note with a reach campaign is that Facebook will optimize for the highest number of possible impressions, with no consideration for clicks and actions taken by the people who see your ads.
