Time.

The most precious commodity we have.

The one thing we can’t get more of, even if we would love nothing more.

Most of us take each day for granted. We get lost in the day-to-day chaos and lose track of how we spend our time.

In those moments of quiet reflection, we think back to a moment in our past and wonder, “Where did the time go?”

We look up one day, and the hands on the clock have moved ever so quickly. “It’s going to be 2025 in a few days? I felt like 2024 just started!”

I feel that way too. For the past seven or eight New Year’s Eve, I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing. The scary thing: New Year’s Eve 2016 felt like a week ago. Eight years have come and gone in the blink of an eye.

I need to do more with my limited time.

Christmas 2024: A Time To Reflect

I reflect often on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day each year.

There is so much build-up to Christmas — 30 days of shopping and planning — and then boom, it’s done. Those 24 hours are quickly in the rearview mirror. Suddenly, Christmas is 364 days away again.
